Land Acknowledgement
This statement was last updated on November 20, 2024.
Hunting the Hunter acknowledges that our work takes place on the traditional and unceded territories of Indigenous nations including the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Anishinaabe, and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. This land, referred to as Tkaronto, holds a rich history of stewardship and connection, and we honour the treaties that were made and broken with Indigenous peoples.
As a BIPOC- and 2SLGBTQI+-owned agency, we strive to create work that uplifts underrepresented voices, including Indigenous communities. We recognize that our responsibility extends beyond acknowledgment to action, including supporting reconciliation and decolonization efforts wherever we work.
By reflecting on these commitments, both Chasing Tiger and Hunting the Hunter strive to work with respect and care for the lands and communities that host us.
